It's just a short blog today to talk about the Wonderwool blanket. All of the squares have now been designed and Ruth and I are busy test-knitting them to make sure I've written the pattern correctly. Test knitting is so important in pattern writing as often the words written don't entirely line up with the intended instructions. Sometimes it's small things like typos but not always!
I also wanted to write about the importance of blocking the squares of the blanket. If you are like me, blocking is a chore you would rather miss out but taking a look at some of the before and after pictures below, it's clear that blocking makes a big difference.
The countdown to Wonderwool has begun for us -- only six weeks to go and a very long list of things to do. Can't wait!
